Dennis Smith of Gosford District Rifle Club has won first place in 'F Class' in the NSW Queen's Medal Shoot at Malabar
Dennis won the 3 day Queen's F Class Standard in a shoot-off with Alan Seaman. His score for the 3 days was 528 out of a possible 540.
Dennis also placed 7th in the McIntosh 2 day leadup with a score of 388 out of a possible 420. This should have given him the No. 5 Grand Aggregate Badge, but this is to be confirmed. (Badge was actually given to someone else yesterday, a querie has been lodged)
They were also successful in having the F Class Association, and the introduction of Grading for F Class (A and B as we see it) approved at the AGM on Friday night.
The adoption of general use of the "Super V" will take a little longer.
