Working Bee May 2017
A great effort by those who attended the Working Bee last Saturday; Targets repaired, Stop Butts repaired, Culvert pipe installed in Campbell's Canal at 400m, New Grab rail and toliet cistern installed in the clubhouse and our major project, the upgrading of the 600m mound, was completed in time for the club shoot. Special thanks to Darren, Grant, Adrian and Gail who also worked on Friday doing a lot of preparation work at 600m.

Working Bee April 2017

A small band of skilled and dedicated members completed the upgrade of our 300 metre mound over two days. On Friday the earth works were carried out and edge boards were installed. On Saturday the base material was levelled, shaped and compacted. The artificial turf was then laid and secured. A first-class job.
While all this was going on we had another team mowing, trimming and cleaning our range and club house. Thanks to all those involved.

Working Bee Oct 2016

We achieved quite a lot during the morning, there was a team sand-bagging the splash holes in the stop butt; Adrian, Sandile, John, Hayden, Stuart and Bob. Stuart also de-rusted and painted the target frame footings while Dale and Alan were on target maintenance. Grant and Adrian were on tree trimming and Darren and Hamish relocated the logs at the 500m mound. Back at the clubhouse Greg was busy laying the last of our carpet tiles and Gail, Mark and Anne were preparing a multitude of things for our Open Prize Meeting.

Working Bee
Thanks to those members who came to the Working Bee last Saturday, the apprentice (Greg Fletcher) and the apprentice's apprentice (Dale Hopwood) did a great job in hard-wiring our generator, a very professional job. The rest of the crew were sanding, painting, concreting, brush cutting and tree clearing. All of these jobs are a great help to the club.
